Frequently Asked Questions
Where are all our products made?
At a certified gluten-free facility in Barrie, Ontario.
Why are our products not classified as vegan?
The only ingredient that stops us from being classified as vegan is honey. We use 100% Ontario honey as a sweetener as we want to be mindful of the sugar content in our cookies. Plus – We love the bees and want to support such an amazing local ingredient.
Can you freeze our products?
If you find yourself wanting to extend your cookie’s shelf life you can certainly toss them in the freezer and then allow them to thaw when you are ready to enjoy them! We should also mention that they make for a delicious ice cream cookie sandwich…. Just saying.
Where do you source your ingredients?
We source all-Canadian ingredients when possible. Being a small local business we understand the importance of supporting other like-minded businesses. Our gluten-free oats and gluten-free flour are from Aylmer Ontario, our honey is from Ontario bees (and their amazing keepers), the delicious vegan chocolate is from Quebec, and we receive our quinoa from Saskatchewan.

Why do the cookies have a shorter shelf-life than normal cookies?
We are very big on the “freshness” of products that we eat. We believe that what we eat should be made fresh with zero additives or preservatives, which is why our products have a natural shelf-life of 12 weeks. We like to think that we are baking cookies made to order from our kitchen and sending them directly to yours.
